What working with WW looks like

Subcontracting lives or dies on three things: whether the price was honest, whether the programme holds, and whether anyone answers the phone when something changes. We built this side of the business around those three.

You get one point of contact who knows your job. Enquiries are answered, not managed. If the drawings contain a detail that will not work on the roof, we flag it at pricing stage, because the cheap moment to fix a bad detail is before anybody builds it.

On site

Our operatives work inducted and to your site rules, keep a clean scaffold, and coordinate lifting and loading with your site management rather than around them. Covered-up work is photographed as we go, so your records show the membrane, the battens and the leadwork you paid for, not just the finished surface.

The work itself

Pitched roofing in slate, stone slate, concrete and clay tile; heritage re-slating; leadwork; dormers and rooflights. The projects archive shows the standard, including in-progress photography, which is the honest way to judge a roofing subcontractor.

The record you hand over

Working with us

How do you price subcontract roofing work?

From your drawings and specification wherever they exist, as a package price or per plot. The quotation states what is included, what is provisional and the rates that apply if the provisional items land. No surprises at valuation.

Can you work to our programme?

Yes, and we would rather see the programme before we price than promise blind. If a date is at risk from weather or preceding trades, you hear it from us early, with options.

How do you handle site requirements?

Send your induction, RAMS format and site rules with the enquiry and we build them into the price and the plan. Our operatives turn up inducted, equipped and expected.

What does handover look like?

A roof that passes inspection first time, photographic records of the covered-up details taken as we work, and any O&M information your handover pack needs.
