Garden rooms, outdoor kitchens and car ports framed in green oak and roofed in reclaimed stone slate or tile. Small buildings, built like real ones.
Why oak and slate
Most garden structures are softwood and roofing felt, and they look tired in five years. Green oak stiffens and silvers as it ages, and a properly battened slate or tile roof over it will outlast every shed on the street. The difference in cost is real; so is the difference in what you end up with.
From frame to finished roof
We build the frame, deck it, and roof it with the same care as a house: breathable membrane, battens set to gauge, and coverings dressed with proper edge details rather than mastic. The two photographs on this page are the same build: the roof deck going on, and the finished building.
